腾讯数码讯（编译：张秀梅）谷歌(微博)旗下Nexus系列设备一直都是具有超高性价比、始终搭载最新Android系统的产品，素有谷歌“亲儿子”的地位。不过此前有传闻显示谷歌将计划用“Silver”系列取代“Nexus”，取消“纯Android系统”，让许多Nexus系列设备的忠实粉丝忧心忡忡。不在本届谷歌I/O开发者大会上，Android工程和Nexus项目主管Dave Burke在接受采访时完全否定了Nexus计划将遭到放弃的说法。虽然Dave Burke没有直接对Android Silver计划给予回应，但他也没有否认Androild Silver的存在。

“因为一些其他的事情，大家都在讨论Nexus，认为谷歌将放弃Nexus计划。这完全的错误的结论。” Dave Burke说道。

Dave Burke进一步解释说，谷歌打造Android系统不会离开Nexus设备。这两个过程是同步进行的，Android软件团队编写软件，硬件团队则打造Nexus硬件。Nexus项目是一种帮助谷歌了解Android软件和硬件如何更好结合的方法。Nexus项目不会遭到抛弃。“我们的开发工作会带来两个成果。我们既要编写开源代码，还要设计Nexus设备。没有手机或平板电脑，你根本没法设计开源代码。必须要把你的代码呈现出来。” Dave Burke表示

根据媒体之前的报道，Silver系列走的是高端路线，谷歌打算用它来狙击iPhone，据说谷歌还为其制定了新的软硬件标准。这一消息引发了不少消费者的担忧，认为谷歌或许会终结Nexus产品的生命。在采访中，Burke拒绝讨论Silver，不过他表示Silver的推出，并不意味着Nexus将会就此终结。

“你不能抽象地开发一个平台，必须开发一款设备或一组设备。所以我不认为Nexus会消失。我认为Nexus还是一个很有趣的方式，可以方便我们解释谷歌自己对于Android的设想。这是一种声明，从某种意义上讲，几乎就是一份对纯洁的声明。我想不出我们为什么要放弃，这根本没有道理。”他说。

怎么样，鉴于谷歌官方已经开口正式了不会取消Nexus系列的硬件设备，那么还请各位粉丝耐心等待Nexus 6的到来。
